Al Gore has a movie out about the whole bit, and even if you don't like Al Gore, I encourage anyone interested to check it out. It's called "An Inconvenient Truth" or something along those lines.

I watched it my Comp. class.

The statistics and forecasts for the future if nothing is changed were terrifying and eye opening.

I have that movie. And yes it is a real eye opener. Even though I knew global warming existed, I didn't realize how bad it was until I watched An Inconvenient Truth.

Did you know that Al Gore's house is powered by green energy?

Same here. I had no idea Global Warming was such a pressing issue, and I didn't realize that so much research was being done in the background that no one ever hears about.

I think it's disappointing that the United States and Australia didn't agree with the Kyoto Protocol, though I hear state and city governments are following the Kyoto Prococol even if the nation is not, at least in the US.

Green energy? Sorry, I'm not familiar with that term. :/

Green energy is another way of saying natural energy.
